Review

  • The mammoth run time for each episode once again counts as a turn-off for this series. The pacing of the episodes is predominantly slow and agonizing.
  • The story just isn’t captivating enough and there are far too many narratives to thread together, leading to the overstuffed episodes with uneven focus.
  • Madeleine Madden’s performance as Egwene is one of the bright lights and her delivery of one particular line to Renna is so cold and impressive.
